Multi-Media Training elders stories of the YagGAra-Language people groups
Each year Indigenous Australians mourn the loss of important elders. Gone with each elder is valuable cultural information and knowledge linking the past with the present. Functional languages, songs, stories, family ties, and historical accounts need to be preserved before it’s too late. It is crucial to record people with knowledge before their passing so that their oral histories do not continue to become cloudy or diluted.
